I like subtle humore and to laugh outloud
I play percussion and record with a digital audio workstation and a MacIntosh g5, I used to carve figurines from white alabaster and serpentine and meerschaum. I make posters and other graphics using scans from real world pictures. And I write.
I have been to Russia and Ukraine. St Petersburg and Sevastopol. Other than that, only Canada... I live in the northwest USA. I would like to travel to the Carribean or Australia or Japan perhaps. France and Montreal Canada are also interesting.
I am learning the language, so I guess that I would need someone with patience. I have a diversity of experience with people from many different cultures. I guess that I just need someone who does not assume all americans are stupid or bad... :)
At an intimate hotel in the nicest part of the Virgin islands or Paris or Greece with the nicest people, and a cafe that has the best coffee or tea in the world :)
I am a reasonably articulate and calm person who likes to have a good time, is interested intensely in parts of the world that others take for granted, and otherwise has a good sense of humor and balance... I like the intimacy of personal correspondence & conversations...
I am not looking for perfection, just someone who can live in this world and understand how diverse the world of experience is, and how much we can do from common understanding and care. Someone who is patient with the difference in cultures, Americans can be ignorant, though most things they do are not meant in a bad way. I do not want politics or the expectation of problems to keep me from seeing my friends in Russia and Ukraine. I have no problems with my friends there and they do not control the government or the propaganda, any more than I do. :)
Someone who is understanding and also knows that any relationship or friendship will take time would be perfect. It would to understand what someone I meet would need to be happy. There is too little happiness in the world today. And too much greed.
