I like every kind of cuisine.
Rush is my all-time favorite band, I've seen them live 8 or 9 times and they're just phenomenal, in a class by themselves. Funk is the best to dance to, I can't dance to white music; I love Kate Bush, she's in a class by herself as well, also love U2, Peter Gabriel, The Gypsy Kings, Dead Can Dance; progressive rock, alt. rock like The Church, Modern English, classic rock like the Stones, Zeppelin, The Doors; Irish music; world music; progressive jazz; romantic, postromantic and 20th century classical like Dvorak, Martinu, Copland, Orff; some techno/trance is pretty cool.
I love satire, parody, and spoofs; making fun of conventions.
I have a lesbian cat who eats my shoe laces, pees in the sink, and has a serious crush on my other cat who loves to make strange noises while attacking my feet.
But my main motivation is spiritual growth. I believe the supreme good in life is spiritual awareness and service achieved through the disciplined development of consciousness through several stages of growth as mapped out by transpersonal and integral psychology, culminating with nondual awareness variously described as enlightenment, illumination, awakening, realization, liberation, moksha, sahaj, satori, Buddhahood, mystical union, unio mystica, oneness, etc., depending on the spiritual tradition. By any name, spiritual enlightenment and the compassionate service to others that flows from it is the most important goal of my life.
My path is one I create by integrating the spiritual practices of the great nondual tantric traditions of Advaita Vedanta Hinduism, Vajrayana Buddhism, and Taoism with technologies of contemporary science such as brain/mind and biofeedback machines into an integral transformative practice for growth and awakening. It's a holistic path of integral yoga that develops the whole person and the whole couple thru nutrition, running, strength training, stretching, hatha yoga, philosophy, affirmation, visualization, hypnosis, meditation, dream yoga/lucid dreaming 'night school', occasional organic psychedelics, authentic tantra yoga when in relationship with someone I love, and karma yoga for the benefit of others.
I believe that marriage can be the highest yoga, the highest union. It is a practice of learning to become one with another human being, so that when we die, we have the practice to become one with God. A Hindu spiritual teacher once said, "A loving woman is better than a hundred yogis. A loving woman can take you to God in a moment."
I've been to 12 countries, mostly European.
I prefer the genetic, biological, and cultural diversity of multicultural relationships. We are attracted to the exotic; it expands horizons, promotes tolerance, and is more interesting and exciting.
Traveling somewhere, just the two of us. Quality time: no phones, no TV, no computers. Just talking, playing, and laughing.
I have two sides to my personality, a serious side and a playful side. Though my serious side is purposeful and focused, my playful side is equally playful, almost childlike, something I got from my dad who was a real character. I love playing practical jokes, the more creative the better. I love doing things in conventional situations where people are expected to act in a certain way, nothing rude or obnoxious, just things that aren't expected that catch people off-guard or that poke fun at a situation. A fun girl really brings out my sense of humor because I'm a ham and I love to make her laugh. It's almost painful to be with someone who's not playful, fun, quick to smile, quick to laugh, and just generally happy.
An emotionally mature woman in her late 30s/early 40s who has some depth of soul from life experience. I'm not interested in anyone younger than 35. I need a woman, not a girl. I'm more attracted to natural women who wear a big smile instead of makeup and I prefer the natural athletic look over glamor shots or someone trying to look like a model...I don't like girls who rely too much on their physical beauty or whose self-esteem is wrapped up in her physical appearance. That's not sexy to me. Sexiness comes from within: a caring heart, confidence in yourself, courage to follow your heart, and a fun playful personality. I'm looking for my future best friend, lover, wife, and soulmate. I want a wife who knows she's sexy.
I seek a spiritual relationship leading to sacred marriage in the Taoist and Integral Yoga traditions so I prefer a mature educated spiritual woman fluent in English so we can enjoy great conversations.
Someone who's spiritual but not religious who wants a fun, close, deep relationship and a healthy yogic lifestyle. Someone who actually aspires to enlightenment, preferably Hindu, Buddhist, or Taoist. If you are 'traditional' we aren't a good match...if you consider yourself 'modern' that's better, but 'postmodern' is best!
Report me to the site administrator if I ask for too much.
PS I'm serious about finding love and marriage but only with someone equally serious about psychological/spiritual growth; preferably Hindu, Buddhist, or Taoist, because I'm looking for a spiritual wife, my soulmate for life.
