Rupert Holmes released the Pina Colada Song in 1979 a year after I finished high school. I remember going to the famous Burbon and Beefsteak (restaurant and night club) in Kings Cross Sydney, late at night in the early 80s and ordering a Pina Colada drink to find out what it tasted like. It came in a huge cocktail glass the size of a breakfast bowl and cost $20 which was a lot in 80s but since it was about 4 normal drinks in volume, it wasn't too bad. Going to the Bourbon and Beef in the small hours to buy a Pina Colada or three became my tradition when a relationship ended. Listening to the Pina Colada song would bring a tear or two to my eyes wondering why that kind of love only seems to happen in movies and songs. Of course the story of the song never worked out for me. But the point it makes resonates. If you're like me and would like to have a soulmate who you can totally trust and can share every thought, feeling and life experience with, both good and bad. If you're sick of people taking advantage of your honest approach to relationships, and would like to be able to relax with someone knowing there's no risk of waking up one day to find a knife stuck in your back. Then I'd love to hear from you. If you like live music, say hi to me on the sound desk of the AC/DC and Angels tribute band “Thunderstruck”. About my photos. Seems everyone Photoshop's their photos on here. So yes mine are as well, except the one with the cartoon T shirt. That's me no tricks or edits, taken October 2023.

Snapshot, but there is plenty more if we choose to meet. I’m looking to establish a long term relationship if all the moons align. A loyal romantic, little bit old fashioned who wears his heart on his sleeve. People person who will talk to anyone, and I must admit I like people watching. Family oriented. Love cooking, trying new recipes, eating well and visiting new restaurants. Music plays a big part in my life and I enjoy discovering new artists and songs. Can’t beat live music at a festival or quiet bar. The ocean is my happy place and I couldn’t imagine living a long way from it. It’s food for my soul. Anything outdoors appeals to me and I will give anything a go. I enjoy camping, fishing, snorkelling, scuba, paddling a surf ski, walking the northern beaches coast. Although I’m a hopeless runner. I like to make an effort in with my appearance and clothes, especially when going out. I’m comfortable in an expensive suit at a flash resturant or event, but don’t mind chilling at home in comfy clothes. I haven’t travelled nearly enough as I would like, so that will form a big part of my future. Hopefully it will be with someone special. If you have got to this bit, thanks for taking the time. Not sure there is a 100% perfect match, although i know if there’s a connection fairly quick. Some qualities and attributes I’m looking for, in no particular order: Caring, considerate, confident, interesting, fun, sense of humour, honesty, affectionate, positive, energetic and motivated, healthy lifestyle including great food and exercise. Willing to travel and explore together. Love of the ocean and outdoors. Smokers or drug users are not my perfect match. A woman that knows what she wants and is prepared to commit to more than a part time relationship that’s convenient. Walk along the coast or river then a coffee and brunch. A drink at a small quiet bar, and some Tapas to share. A future date would have to be a picnic with a well stocked basket, some wine and an awesome view. If the chemistry and connection is there I don’t think the location or activity matters. It just enhances the experience.
