Hello, for starters I have not fully subscribed yet but I am going to once I become familiar with this site. I really don't understand why it is so hard to find a soulmate to spend your life with? Yes, I'm in my 60's but does that really matter. I'm a good man. I don't play games with people's hearts. I am a proud grand dad of a wonderful 2 year old. My son is 31 and a young man now. I'm kind hearted, giving and more importantly, loyal to someone I love. I am open and honest about myself and yet no one will even reach out and say hi. It truly breaks my heart that someone like myself who has been alone for over seven years is unable to capture anyone's interest in at least talking to me. Yes, I'm just an old hippie born in the 50s. Yes, I went to so many concerts that my hearing now is a bit flawed. I grew up alone after the loss of both my parents. Having no siblings I went through life by myself. Like many others I stumbled many times but by Gods grace l survived. I know some people aren’t religious so I don’t mean to offend you by stating that. I have few friends and those friends are like family to me. I wouldn't be writing this without them. They know who they are. I have been alone for many years now and time is getting away from me. I am lonely yes, been that way for a while now but, I’m not the kind that goes to bars and such to meet people. Sadly I guess I depend too much on fate. I love ladies who are from foreign countries. My mother was born in Paris so I guess it's in my blood. I don’t know what else to say. I hope all this makes sense! Peace to all who read this.

Never been married, no children. I've always wanted both. I've lived in Oregon all my life, and Portland for most of it. I have a college degree in Communication and have worked in various Audio/Visual technology related jobs centering around photo, video, sound, and lighting. I work for myself as sort of a technology handy man for people with problems, projects, or productions. I love music; listening to it, playing it, and experiencing it live. I will want to share this with my lover. I play the bass guitar. I have played with several groups of people the last few years. My favorite band is the Grateful Dead, I hope you love them too. I used to travel hundreds of miles to see them play. I still love a good road trip. I believe in astrology, as well as Meyers Briggs. They have both helped me to understand the complexities of who I am. I think a lot about Existential ideas, the universe, reality, the human condition, and what's the point of it all anyway? I am different, always have been. I realize I am not easily understood by most people. My level of weirdness is above the average, and I am okay with that. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. I am devoted to my family, loyal to my friends, kind to strangers, and committed to my love. I enjoy discussing deep topics and making fun of the absurd. I often smile. I have a happy personality with a heavy soul and that gets weird sometimes. I am humble enough to admit that I am far from perfect, and have a ton of flaws, but I am also wise enough to know my heart is pure and my soul is as deep as they come. I'm not proud of everything I've done, but I am proud of who I am. I have never been the sort who people fall in love with easily. I've never known the feeling of being in love with someone who was also in love with me. The worst feeling in the world is loving someone who does not love you back. I know this feeling well.
