I’m a simple Texas guy who has spent most of my adult life in the Army. I’ve had the opportunity to see literally dozens of counties, mostly in Europe and East Asia, with the obligatory rotations into Iraq and Afghanistan. So, I have a little different perspective on somethings and a true appreciation of life in the USA while I appreciate what other cultures have to offer. I moved to the South Carolina coast a couple years ago and am getting started on the next phase of life. I look forward to getting back into surfing (I grew up surfing the Tx gulf coast) and getting into kayaking and kiteboarding. I like outdoor activities but also kicking back at home just reading and relaxing. Big movie buff and reader. I tinker whenever I get bored. I taught myself how to rebuild carburetors over one winter when I lived in Germany. Oh, very irreverent sense of humor. I’m looking for a friend who can become my partner in life and share our experiences. I’m a cuddler. Seriously, if you don’t like long hugs, lounging together, spooning, etc. you probably want to go ahead and swipe down… or is it right? Left? Clearly, I don’t social-media, but I do have a robust MySpace page!!! It’s hella cool! (Yep, that kind of humor) I don't try to be the "cool guy". I hold my friends and family close. They know I love them. And frankly at this point I don't really care what others think. I'm polite and kind whenever I can be. After 27+ yrs in the Army, and lots of that deployed, I've got nothing left to prove. I am who I am. Loving, kind, polite, firm when need be. I've uploaded some pictures... now I understand why so many selfies look weird. Serious applause to those who can take a decent selfie. I'm intensively protective of my kids so I will not post anything about them. Actually, I'm a pretty private person so this is weird to me.
