HI.. I'm Steve. I'm young at heart, fun, like to work out, easy going, drama free, affectionate, I'll warm you up if cold because I have a warm body and heart. My heart is an open book and I've learned it's important to talk things out if something is bothering. I'm considerate, a gentleman, honest, polite, respectful, caring, thoughtful but not perfect, I'm a man who will be there when you need to talk, or a shoulder to cry on. I don't have an oversized ego, I'm not arrogant, I don't always have to be right and I'll admit when I'm wrong. I've also learned not to go to sleep mad at each other. My best thing is coming home after missing you all day and greeting you with a big hug and a long passionate kiss. I sometimes like to go on long walks thru the woods. Drives into the country where we don't know where we are or going. My interests vary and I'm pretty much up for most anything reasonable. A quiet night relaxing and cuddling on the couch is great. Going to a dance club is fun, hanging out with friends, fine dining, shopping at the mall, on the internet, watch/attend sporting events, art fairs, estate sales, flea markets, collect antiques, attend concerts especially outdoors in the summertime, my fav color is black, fav music is just about everything (except what my kids listen to),I love to be outside in the summer, love going to the beach. I'm a pretty agreeable, outgoing guy, shy around new people until I get to know them. I've always felt that what you get is what you give. Best to treat people the way you'd like to be treated.

Outdoors. Fishing. Hunting for food not sport. Camping. Hiking. Reading. Fixing broken shit... DIYer I’m from the south...born in Alabama...raised in Tennessee...humbled in Germany ... kicked around at BYU until I graduated in 1988... raised 4 boys in Utah. I’ve been here ever since. Like a salmon I do have this migration-like instinct pulling me down south. I don’t expect to give in to it however. Maybe it has to do with my ancestry being Alabama pioneers going back to the 1820s. Yes I’m into family history BUT not because I’m old ! Well...maybe a tad.  But You’re only as old as the photo filter says you are.  What you see is what you get.  Prepare for the future. Live in the present. Now we’re talkin’!  So Easy right?! I’m very spontaneous yet proactive in trying to be a better person. I enjoy anything outdoors except pulling weeds. I like Camping..fishing..hiking..exploring....bow hunting..dirt bikes...sports...golf (I suck btw) etc..etc. my. My dream trip would be to Israel and Italy—3 weeks...feeling rushed on a vacation sucks  Reading history, biographies, business, religion books. I like documentaries, sports and good movies. Favorites include Jaws, Dances with Wolves, Ferris Buehler, The Revenant, and deep philosophical ones like Napoleon Dynamite and Dumb and Dumber. My all-time favorite is The Notebook 🤮 ;-).  I like classic rock with faves being The Beatles...Led Zepplin...Van Halen...Rolling Stones...Eagles...Journey...Steve Miller. Some country music.   Best album: Sgt Peppers,  The White album, Led Zeppelin 1. VH 1984 Songs: Eleanor Rigby, Helter Skelter, Kashmir, Brown-eyed Girl, Peaceful Easy Feeling.  I love sports  Utah Jazz and BYU football being at the top of the list—the latter teaching me humility, patience and long-suffering.  My perfect match?  There ain’t one. Having lots of things in common is great but isn’t a necessity.  If there is that “connection” —which I can’t really define—then I’ll just want to be with her doing whatever...even pulling weeds ;-).  And to be crystal clear, I believe  step one in a relationship is friendship. I don’t believe steps should be skipped. Going from messaging on Match to Step 4 —whatever the far end of the scale would be skipping steps. This ain’t The Bachelor. Also a friendship wrapped in “Benefits” is playing with fire and is quite frankly wrong on many levels. I'm separated not divorced...and this puts more importance on developing the friendship and staying with that until other things work out. That’s it. Oh wait...did I mention I love The Notebook  To be clear ...I am joking. I hope that is obvious :-) Caveats:  If you don’t like surprises and unpredictability I ain’t your guy.  If your life is a big To Do list  I ain’t your guy.  If you’re above shopping At Walmart I ain’t your guy.  If you live to workout rather than workout to live then I ain’t your guy. If you drive a Subaru with bumper stickers plastered on the back defining your worldview and articles of faith then .... we probably can’t Coexist ;-)  If most of your pictures are of you drinking and that accurately depicts your lifestyle then I ain’t your guy. I’m not a prude but I’m just sayin’ And finally...If “ain’t” and “y’all” annoy you then c’mon y’all I ain’t your guy.
